I am the proud author of three fantastic novels, which I have lovingly self-published. Both Eternity Calls and Murdock were really written on the edge of my seat; the writing came without a plan as such, and so those books are incredibly spontaneous and self-contained. However, when Orpheus came into my mind, I simply had such an influx of ideas that I was forced to plan the story arc before the writing began. And although most of the story is written with the same spontaneity, there is one key difference: Orpheus knows exactly where it is going, and it will not stop!

Orpheus: The Sentience War is the first novel in the Orpheus Universe. It is the first part of the trilogy of the character of Orpheus, and the first step in a wider journey which will see this world undergo a massive expansion. I think it is safe to say that this sci-fi is my life’s work. It is a joy to vanish into it, and it is a joy to return and share it with others. There are at least three trilogies planned, which will complete the core saga of the Orpheus Universe. And, of course, there will be a multitude of other short stories – such as the Callisto Collective – which will compliment the main novels. I call this secondary storytelling.

I built ProProsel knowing that I would be my own best customer. If I truly wanted my books to succeed, then I needed to do something extraordinary, something above and beyond. Instead of trusting in another over-subscribed platform to be seen, I decided to create my own. As Orpheus would say: “You trust in the system, you become the system.”

However, this is not just a platform for myself. Its real purpose is to help other authors like me! Why? Because I know how incredibly frustrating it is to have books written with no means to share them. That is the website’s core goal – to offer an affordable membership to those who want their writing to be seen. And by having content from many authors, divided into sub-genres and other differentiations, then a powerful result can be achieved. High organic traffic / other interest that gets evenly distributed amongst member authors.

Upon further thought about what else I could do with the website, it suddenly clicked. Offering Creative Consultancy has always been something that I have been passionate about, and where better to offer it than on ProProsel – a hub of creativity. This service is in no way exclusive to authors or storytellers; absolutely anyone can benefit from having a powerful conversation with creativity as the focus. It is something that I am extremely good at – multiplying the creative spark in another until it transforms into a fire.

The niche Creative Consultancy offering will be our Self-Publishing Solutions. This will include various packages catered to writers at their varying stages and levels of affordability. Each of these packages will seek to solve a number of obstacles, thereby providing you with layers upon layers of value. There is much more to come on this, and it will take some time before the first package is ready to be released.
